BioMalcolm Richmond was born in 1977 to Andrew Richmond and Tina Martin in Boston, Massechussets. He grew up attending private schools and when the time came for him to go to university at age 16, he chose Georgetown. Malcolm joined the FBI after graduating with a doctorate in social sciences at age 24.
Malcolm married Etheline Hoffman in 2001, when he was 24 and she 23 (they had both attended GU). Two years later, their son Charles Richmond was born on the same day Malcolm graduated from Quantico.
He was promoted from Special Agent to Agent when he solved a rather strenuous case while an SAC at age 34 in 2011.
In 2014, Malcolm was severely injured during a case alongside his then-partner Ryan Cole. Their target had been underestimated and had shot Ryan through the forehead immediately. The man, Carson Morton, left Malcolm for dead after causing a wall to collapse on top of him. Morton was caught and killed by another agent three weeks later in a shoot-out.
Malcolm was in a coma for three years. Little did he know, he had changed. He wasn't wholely the Malcolm Richmond he had thought he was. Etheline had procured a spot on the list for the Merrick Biotech "insurance policies" in 2014 and Richmond Three-Gamma was used in Malcolm's rehabilitation. A funny thing, however, was that Malcolm had not shown signs of muscular entropy. When he had asked both his wife and the doctors, they had changed the subject. His wife had said, "The doctors do wonders these days," then proceeded to talk about how big their son had grown.
Malcolm was reinstated at the FBI six months later. Five months after that, in March of 2018, Etheline died of breast cancer. No one had known she even had it.
In 2019, Charles went off to Georgetown University (at age sixteen) and Malcolm was called to Los Angeles to probe a case on Merrick Biotechnologies and the medi-clones that had escaped from his medical facility. After arriving, Malcolm was locked inside a military bunker "for his own protection". It seemed as though the military knew something he didn't.
He has been there ever since.
